Dr. Mohamed Elrefai
Mobile developer, quantitative analyst, and AI researcher based in Singapore.
I build things that live at the intersection of mobile technology, quantitative finance, and artificial intelligence. My work spans from consumer mobile apps that simplify everyday life to quantitative frameworks that bring academic-grade valuation metrics to retail investors.
I created MAVI (Market-Adjusted Value Index) — a valuation framework that combines earnings yield, public-float accessibility, and tradable market depth into a single score. It's designed for retail investors who want institutional-grade insight without the institutional complexity.
On the mobile side, I develop and publish apps through MoSpace — starting with MoSplit (smart expense splitting) and MoTrip (travel planning companion). Each app is built with a focus on polished UX, thoughtful design, and real utility.
My research interests include agentic AI systems, automated trading strategies, alternative data for equity analysis, and the practical applications of large language models in financial decision-making.
I'm based in Singapore (UTC+8) and always interested in connecting with fellow builders, researchers, and curious minds.
